The West London team has its sights set on winning the Premier League championship in the next season, but in order to do so, they will need a sizeable transfer fund to help them acquire high-profile players.
The defense is one aspect of the squad that requires significant effort. Tuchel has already provided Chelsea’s higher management with a shortlist of new players with fresh legs that he aims to acquire during the next summer transfer window. Some of his top objectives are Jules Koundé, Aurelien Tchouameni, Declan Rice, and Matthjis De Ligt.
According to the most recent rumours coming out of Italy, Ivan Perisic has reportedly come to a deal with Chelsea. The only things that are lacking are his signature and his medical tests. According to Inter Xtra’s understanding, negotiations to extend Perisic’s current deal, which expires in June at the age of 33, have been on hold for the last couple of months.
It was reported that Chelsea and Arsenal were also interested in making a bid for Lautaro Martinez; however, the transfer does not seem likely to take place any time soon as his representative dispelled rumors by stating that his client is content playing for Inter.
