After telling Manchester United that he would be leaving this summer, Ronaldo has been linked to Chelsea.

The Portuguese superstar’s agent has spoken with Todd Boehly, the new owner of the Blues, regarding a potential deal.

On the other side, Tuchel is reportedly less eager to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

This summer, Sterling from Manchester City is a top target for Chelsea, and a £45 million deal is getting closer.

Despite the midfielder’s desire to transfer to Barcelona, Leeds accepted the Blues’ £60 million offer for Raphinha last month.

Agbonlahor claims that Tuchel placed both of those goals higher on his list of priorities. Additionally, he doesn’t believe a Ronaldo trade will happen until Boehly defies his boss.

“I believe he’d be a terrific match, but I simply do not see that happening,” Agbonlahor said to talkSPORT. The egos of Neymar, Messi, and Thomas Tuchel caused him to leave PSG.

“He won’t want a player with Ronaldo’s enormous ego showing up and demanding to play every game. He would much rather go out and buy Sterling and Raphinha, guys who aren’t larger than the manager or even the club.

Therefore, in my opinion, Thomas Tuchel would not favor Cristiano Ronaldo. However, if it comes from above him and the owners desire him, then maybe it will occur.

Ronaldo is not the only international superstar who has been linked to Chelsea. Neymar is reportedly considering moving to west London as well.

On the other side, Jason Cundy, a former defender for Chelsea, would not want the Brazilian on his old team. Ronaldo may not be a good acquisition, either, in his opinion.

“I honestly believe, and I’ve stated this many times before, that Neymar is overrated,” Cundy remarked. I’m not suggesting he’s a horrible player; rather, I believe he is overrated. I’m not convinced he would fit in at Chelsea.

“Ronaldo, there’s a little part of me that’s a little worried that Thomas Tuchel won’t be signed. It reminds me a little bit of a Todd Boehly story in which the wealthy man is being lured by one of the best players to ever play the game while he is still accessible.

And then there’s Sterling, which to me makes perfect sense. I’m not sure how much he’ll cost, but it seems and sounds like it will be a fair price.
