As per reports from the Athletic, the Ex-Borussia Dortmund winger is unhappy with his current position at Stamford Bridge and the West Londoners on the other hand are reportedly aware that he would prefer the idea of moving to the Threatre of Dreams.
After a recent slump in performance from players like Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, the Manchester based outfit could need some reinforcements & changes going forward.
It hasn’t exactly worked as planned for the highly-rated winger at the Blues, but he previously appeared to be a top young prospect while playing for German Giants, Borussia Dortmund, and he might very well reignite his career under New Boss, Erik Ten Hag.
The playing style of the Dutch tactician could be a better fit for that of Christian Pulisic, but reliable transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has disclosed interest from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle via (CaughtOffside substack)
However, Pulisic would prefer to play for a big side like Manchester United over Newcastle, so it will be fascinating to watch how this plays out.
The Former European Champions could be wary of this transfer since it would strengthen their fellow rivals, but the Magpies are perhaps less of a threat & have a better chance to finalise a deal for the 23-year-old.
