Barella, 25, is considered one of Serie A and Italy’s best midfielders at this moment in time. He had a hand in 17 goals from midfield for Inter last season, and already has eight goals in 39 caps for Italy at this stage in his career.
Jurgen Klopp is a long-term admirer, and the Reds are said to be willing to include Naby Keita in a deal for Barella. Meanwhile, last month, reports suggested Tottenham would love to form a reunion with Antonio Conte at Spurs.
But now, the latest report claims Chelsea have entered the running. The report says Chelsea will open talks in the next few days for Barella and look to make an offer, for a player that is worth a whopping £77.5million.

Chelsea have plenty of midfielders but it must be said that Barella would probably be their best. He is better than Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho, Conor Gallagher and N’Golo Kante at this moment in time.
Liverpool also need a midfielder – having failed to replace Gini Wijnaldum. Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are out of contract next summer. The others are beginning to age. Barella would be superb, for all three parties.
