According to Spanish outlet Sport, Chelsea are regularly speaking with the Bayern Munich hitman’s agent, Pini Zahavi, about a transfer to West London this summer.

Lewandowski revealed last weekend that he was probably leaving the German giants over the coming months, amid speculation that Liverpool had been in talks to bring him to Anfield as part of a fascinating reunion with Jurgen Klopp, whom he dazzled under at Borussia Dortmund for a number of years.

Despite this speculation about a stunning Premier League transfer, Barcelona are winning the race to sign the 33-year-old marksman [Sport].

Earlier this week, HITC Sport wrote about how a transfer to Spurs could potentially work in spite of Harry Kane’s presence in North London, with Antonio Conte using the 28-year-old as a false nine rather than an out-and-out goalscorer.

And Lewandowski is definitely a goalscorer.

According to Transfermarkt, the Poland international netted 50 goals for Bayern this season, which is one hell of a return and you can see why Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham reportedly want him.

Despite the interest, Lewandowski joining Barcelona seems the most probable scenario from this.

That being said, this is a player who earns £369,000 per week and the Camp Nou outfit have well documented money problems, typified by their failure to compete for Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe.

Honestly, it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if somebody like a Chelsea came and satisfied Lewandowski’s lofty wage demands.

Of all the reported suitors, the Blues are certainly the ones most likely to match his Bayern salary.
