For some weeks now, Chelsea have reportedly been eyeing a move for Manchester City’s 27-year-old winger, Raheem Sterling, to bolster their attacking options for next season. Talks between the two parties were also believed to positive.
In a post via his official Facebook handle on Wednesday evening, renowned Italian sport journalist, Fabrizio Romano, have reported that Chelsea have an agreement in place with Manchester City for the permanent transfer of Raheem Sterling on a long-term contract for a fee of about 45 million Pounds with add-ons.
It is believed that Thomas Tuchel played a key role in persuading Raheem Sterling to leave the Eithad. Raheem Sterling will become Thomas Tuchel’s first signing of the summer transfer window and will be one of Chelsea’s highest paid players for next season.
