His group (Mavin Record) is among the best musical groups in Nigeria. Don Jazzy has helped numerous talented music artists come to limelight in the music industry.
However, there are a lot of musicians under the Don Jazzy’s musical group (Mavin Record) that have achieved a lot of things in the entertainment industry because of their efforts.
Nevertheless, here is how Rema and 2 other celebrities under Don Jazzy’s musical group came to limelight in the music industry.
Rema.
The Nigerian singer (Divine Ikubor) known popularly as Rema came to limelight after he released a song titled “Iron man” which appeared on barrack obama’s 2019 summer playlist.
In 2019, Rema signed a deal with “jonzing world” (A subsidiary of Mavin Records). Also, Rema released several songs which gave him many awards and recognition in the music industry. On 19th october (2009), Rema won the Next rated and was nominated for the viewer’s choice award at the 13th edition of “The Headies”. Also, on 12th January, 2020, he received the Soundcity MVP Awards for best new artiste.
Ayra Starr.
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe known professionally as Ayra Starr is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and a model.
She signed a deal with “Mavin Records” in December, 2019. In early 2021, Ayra Star became more famous after she sang a popular song known as “Away”. The song spent two consecutive weeks at number four on Nigeria turn table Top 50 and went to number 17 on US “Billboard Top Triller Global”.
Jonny Drille.
John ighodaro popularly known as Jonny Drille is a Nigerian singer and song writer. His career came to spotlight when he released a cover of “awww” by Di’ja. He is currently signed to Don Jazzy’s musical group (Mavin Record).
Johnny Drille has several nominations and has won an award titled “Best Alternative song”.
