While there are several ways of preventing the spread of the virus, the most common has been the use of condoms which the government has even gone ahead to distribute for free in most public health centres.

It has however emerged that a section of youths, have started quitting the use of condoms following their realization that there are drugs used against the prevention of the virus.

In a research done by a source intimate to us, 25 year old Nancy Onyango learned of the post exposure prophylaxis (PEP), a drug taken within three days after a possible exposure to HIV, when she visited a health facility after engaging in unprotected sex.

She noted that ever since learning about these drugs, her condom use has drastically declined a behavior that the research revealed is gradually growing amongst most youths.
