And if reports are anything to go by, then Real Madrid football club have been linked with a transfer move for highly-rated Chelsea right-back Reece James next year.
The 23-year-old England International, who gained promotion to the Chelsea first-team squad back in 2019 has been an important member of the team in recent seasons.
The young right-back was quite involved for Chelsea football club during the 2022/2023 season where he scored two goals and created two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.
Reece James has however struggled for form for Chelsea football club so far this ongoing 2023/2024 season, making just four appearances in all competitions
Despite that, Reece James is still attracting interests and according to reports from Transfer News Live, LaLiga giants Real Madrid are keen on signing him next year.
The reports further claimed that Real Madrid football club are really interested in Reece James and have added the young right-back to their list of transfer targets.
It is believed that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to find an ideal replacement for ageing Dani Carvajal in that right-back position and he has identified Reece James.
