1. Eden Hazard.
The former Chelsea man came on for Real Madrid in a time they needed him to lead a comeback against RB Leipzig but he failed to do that.
He struggled to get into the rhythm of the game.
2. Thibaut Courtois.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper conceded 3 goals against Leipzig today, the most he has conceded in a single game this season. Not a very good night for him.
3. A. Rudiger.
Rudiger had a rough night up against the ever improving Nkunku. The Leipzig star turned him inside out with his elite movements and this lead to chaos in the Real Madrid back line.
Best Players.
1. Timo Werner.
Unlike Eden Hazard, Timo Werner came into the game as a substitute and was in excellent form. He scored a third goal for Leipzig at a time they needed it the most due to the enormous pressure from Real Madrid.
2. Christian Nkunku.
He was one of the lost standout players today. Really interesting to see that he has added more layers to his style of play and now looks like a world class player.
3. J. Gvardiol.
He showed once again why some of Europe’s biggest clubs are circling around him. His distribution and passing range is excellent, but the standout part of his game is his calmness under pressure.
