The Red Devils claimed a 1-0 win over Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored the only goal of the game in the second half after a beautiful cross from fellow countryman Diogo Dalot.
The home sides put more pressure on United after conceding the goal but were unable to break the Red Devils’ defence.
