In September, Zidane went to watch Inter Miami game with his old Real Madrid colleague David Beckham, who is also a co-owner of Miami.
Zidane was said to have played for Los Blancos from 2001 to 2006, but Lionel Messi made his Barcelona first team debut in 2004 and stayed with the team for 17 years before joining PSG on free transfer.
‘It’s a pity that we couldn’t play together,’ he said in the chat facilitated by adidas. ‘This is the moment for me to pass you the ball.’
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi spent two seasons with French club Paris Saint-Germain before leaving to join Inter Miami.
