The Bundesliga Champions, Bayern Munich opened their Champions League campaign this season with a 2-0 victory over Serie A giants, Inter Milan at the San Siro Stadium last Wednesday, while Robert Lewandowski hattrick helped Barcelona to a 5-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen at the Camp Nou in their first game of the 2022/2023 Champions League tie.
Bayern Munich will go into the game off the back of a 2-2 draw against Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, while Barcelona were 4-0 winners over Cadiz away from home in the Spanish La Liga.
