Phil Foden was given a starting role by coach Pep Guardiola alongside Norwegian youngster Erling Braut Haaland and the duo were able to perform excellently in the entertaining encounter.
Three goals each from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden were enough to give Manchester City football club a deserved victory, while Antony Santos and substitute Anthony Martial scored for Manchester United football club.
