Conte has said that Tottenham have made a good investment for the future by signing Spence.

The 22-year-old signed for Spurs from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window.

Spence, who can operate as a right-back or as a right wing-back, spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest from Middlesbrough.

The youngster helped Forest win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of last season.

“He is a good prospect, he is a perfect prospect for Tottenham but then if we talk about trying to be competitive to win, for sure we need other signings.”
Exciting

It is unlikely that Djed Spence will become a regular in the Tottenham Hotspur starting lineup anytime soon, but it is clear that he is a very good and promising young player.

Spence was one of the stars for Forest last season and played a big role in the Reds’ promotion to the Premier League.

We know that the Premier League is much more competitive and difficult for a player than the Championship.

So, in our opinion, the 22-year-old could take a while to adapt and adjust to the Premier League, but Tottenham fans should be optimistic and confident that he is a gem who will eventually come good.
