Nonetheless, I decided to put up this article to display the starting XI Nigeria Interim coach Augustine Eguavoen, can use to win the AFCON tournament this year.
A. Goalkeeper – Maduka Okoye.
B. Defenders – Kenneth Omeruo, Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina and Sanusi.
C. Midfielders – Joe Aribo, Wilfred Ndidi, Ahmed Musa and Ejuke.
D. Attackers – Kelechi Iheancho and Awoniyi. See the picture below for how they would line up.
In my own opinion, I think Nigeria can defeat Cameroon, Senegal, Algeria and Morocco and win the AFCON tournament this year with the predicted line displayed above.
Note. Players like Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze, will be starting from the bench due to their current form for their club.
