In terms of investment, Chelsea has been one of the leading clubs this season, but despite this new signings, it is surprising that they have not been able to make any meaningful progress. Chelsea’s injured players have also limited the team’s performance, however, there are still several talented players present in the team.
Chelsea’s former coach, Thomas Tuchel was dedicated to improving the team this season, and he showed this by convincing the club to sign several players in the last transfer window. However, despite all the signed players, he failed to improve the performance of the squad and this eventually lead to his sacking.
Thomas Tuchel made a mistake while he was Chelsea’s coach, and Chelsea is still suffering from it. This mistake was his refusal to sign Ronaldo.
Todd Boehly showed interest in signing Ronaldo in the last transfer window, however, Thomas Tuchel insisted that he was no not needed in the team. Shortly after the beginning of the season, it became clear that Tuchel made a mistake by not signing Ronaldo.
Now a new manager has taken over, but the club’s attacking problems are still there. If only Thomas Tuchel had signed Ronaldo long ago, this attacking problems would have ended.
