Much changes haven’t occured at City and Liverpool this season. The Citizens have only sold Gabriel Jesus this summer while Nathan Ake and Raheem Sterling are still expected to leave Etihad Stadium before the end of this transfer window.
At Liverpool, the major exit that has taken place this summer is Sadio Mane’s departure, with Divock Origi moving to Italian Serie A on free transfer.
At Chelsea however, players have left and players are still expected to leave, it’s like a paradigm shift at West London this summer. Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Saul Niguez and Lukaku have all left.
Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic could also leave this summer.
Despite the fact that Thomas Tuchel will be working with many new faces next season as the Blues are keen on signing Nathan Ake, Raphinha, Matthijs De Ligt and Raheem Sterling this summer, the German Gaffer has been tasked to take the top spot on the English Premier League table next season by the new owners of the Club.
With Matthijs De Ligt and Nathan Ake being linked with Chelsea this summer, Chelsea Fans could see a pair of Dutchmen guiding their goal next season. Thomas Tuchel’s back-three Defense lineup will be completed with either Thiago Silva or Trevoh Chalobah.
Conor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour are being tipped to be retained at Chelsea next season but a fit Mateo Kovavic and an in-form N’Golo Kante still remains Thomas Tuchel’s best option to challenge for the league title next season.
With Lukaku out of the squad, Thomas Tuchel still has Kai Havertz to rely on while Armando Broja could be involved occasionally. There’s also Mason Mount who’s a guaranteed starter, alongside Raheem Sterling if Chelsea eventually signs him.
