The Red devils are highly interested in signing Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona but the dutchman wants to stay at Camp Nou.
Manchester United and Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement over a £55 million deal but the Catalan club still owe Frenkie De Jong a total of £17 million.
The 25 year old midfielder has already begin pre-season training with Barcelona and his future at the club will soon be resolved.
Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has been linked with a move to Barcelona. The 27 year old wants to play for the Catalan club but Manchester City will only sell him for €80 million.
If Barcelona sell Frenkie De Jong to Manchester United, they will be able to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently said they will only sell Frenkie De Jong if they have no other choice.
