The La Albiceleste took on European side, Estonia in a friendly game today. It was just a few days after Lionel Messi singlehandedly dismantled Italy to win the Finalissima for Argentina. Messi started today as the Argentine coach opted for a lineup just as strong as the one he picked against Italy.

In the game, Lionel Messi scored 5 Goals, including a 47 minutes hattrick. Messi completely took control of the game and it look like the Estonian defence was running out of ideas on how to cope with the Paris Saint Germain star.

This record is even more impressive when you realise that Cristiano Ronaldo, one of his greatest rivals and arguably the greatest goalscorer ever has not accomplished this feat yes. Lionel Messi keeps rolling back the years and at this rate, his dream of winning the world cup is looking achievable.
