Speaking to the press after winning an individual award yesterday, Modric noted that he’s very happy to see Madrid lift the Spanish La Liga and he is looking forward to beating Liverpool in Paris when the two clubs meet.
In his words, Modric noted;
“It was the start of many magical nights that have taken us all the way to Paris, and hopefully we can win another Champions League.”
Real Madrid defeated Manchester City in the dying minutes of the game to setup a final with Liverpool who defeated Villarreal.
Real Madrid goes into the finals as the favourite but they must be wary of Liverpool’s threat as the Reds has been in a terrific form this season.
