The likes of Vlahovic, Osimhen and Harry Kane has been linked with Chelsea but latest reports show the blues have moved on from this targets after an official bid was reportedly submitted.
Mohamed Toubache-Ter has reported that Chelsea has submitted a verbal offer to Montpellier for Arsenal target Elye Wahi (20) worth €25m, including bonuses.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported over the weekend that Chelsea was closing in on a move for the France U21 international.
The Premier League club is looking to accelerate the deal in the face of competition, notably from Atletico Madrid, who have attempted to hijack Chelsea’s deal.
A new round of talks was scheduled, according to Romano, and according to Toubache-Ter, a verbal offer has now been submitted.
However, the €25m offered by Chelsea is €10m less than what is desired by Montpellier for their prolific striker, who last season scored 19 Ligue 1 goals. Toubache-Ter adds that another club may yet enter the fray to scupper the move….READFULL
