The 22 year old Nigerian international was handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI line-up having been a key figure in the squad and he was able to deliver at the peak using his vast experience at the heart of the centre-field.

Alhassan Yusuf played his part and also contributed his quota in the thrilling and keenly contested encounter that ended two goals to one scoreline at full time with the win making them retained the top spot on the table.

The host in the first half took a double lead courtesy of goals from Toby Alderweireld and Vincent Janssen in the 7th and 20th minute respectively to make it two goals to nil before the visitor got the deficit reduced, as they put one back in the 43rd minute with a goal from Antoine Bernier to make it two goals to one going into the half time break.
