234sportsng.com had reported that the duo of Emmanuel Dennis and Innocent Bonke had trained separately under the watchful eyes of the team’s physical trainer, Maykel Moreira in a desperate bid to ascertain their level of fitness.

But while Dennis dug deeper to cut, Innocent Bonke was been ruled out of the encounter after he failed to recover from the injury he copped up in Nigeria’s 1-0 defeat to Ecuador last week and missed the team’s first two training sessions upon their return from the United States of America.

But the Watford striker is now certified fit and is available for selection against the Leone Stars in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers.

Midfielder Bonke will, however, continue to speed up recovery ahead of Super Eagles’ next game against Sao Tome in Marrakech, Morocco.

It remains to be seen whether Bonke will be fit for Nigeria’s away clash against Sao Tome and Principe next week Monday
