The Super Falconets of Nigeria were the first team to qualify for the Knockout stage of the competition, following their impressive performance in their first two matches, against France and South Korea Under 20 Women’s National teams.

Japan Under 20 Women’s National team were the second team to qualify for the quarterfinals of the competition, after they also won their first two matches against Netherlands and Ghana.

Brazil Under 20 Women’s National team booked their spot in the Knockout stage on Wednesday morning, following their impressive 5-0 victory over host nation Costa Rica. Brazil finished at the second spot of their group table with 7 points from 3 matches played.

Spain Under 20 Women’s National team are also the latest national team to qualify for the next round of the ongoing FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica, following their outstanding 3-0 victory over Australia Under 20 Women’s National team on Wednesday.

The victory over Australia has now helped Spain to finish at the top spot of their group table with 7 points from 3 matches played.

Colombia Under 20 Women’s National team have also booked their spot in the next round of the 2022 FIFA under 20 Women’s World Cup, following their hard-fought 2-2 draw against New Zealand on Wednesday morning.

Colombia defeated Germany 1-0 in their first game of the tournament, they played a goalless draw against Mexico in their second game before playing another draw against New Zealand, and they’ve now finished at the top spot of their group table with 5 points from 3 matches played.
