Chelsea’s Strongest Lineup With Joao Felix And Mudryk In Their Attack
Due to some injuries to some of Chelsea’s best players, the club have been forced to really on most their reserves. However, below is how the blues might lineup with fully fit squad.
Goalkeeper: Arrizabalaga Kepa
With Mendy currently sidelined, Kepa is Chelsea’s first choice goalie. And with the strings performances the Spaniard has so far delivered, it’s likely he’ll remain the number one goalie even though Mendy returns.
Defenders: Ben Chilwell, Badiashile, Thiago Silva And Reece James
In the absence of James and Chilwell, the likes of Hall, Chalobah and Cucurella have played on the wingbacks positions. However, James and Chilwell remains the club’s first choice right back and left back.
Midfielders: Jorginho, Ngolo Kante, And Mason Mount
In the absence of Kante and Jorginho, the likes of Gallagher, Kovacic and co have been played in their positions. However, when fit, Jorginho and Kante are no doubt Chelsea’s best Midfield base, which could give Mason Mount the liberty to dictate play in the attacking midfield position.
Attackers: Mykhaylo Mudryk, Kai Havertz, And Joao Felix
A front three of Mudryk, Havertz, and Felix will now doubt be scary for many opposition defenders. With Havertz’s positional awareness, the pace and trickry of Mudryk and the creativity of Joao Felix, Chelsea’s frontline could be one of the best in Europe. And with the likes of Sterling, Aubameyang and Ziyech available, there’s definitely balance within the squad.
