ESPN FC tweeted: “Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked by PSG just months after guiding them to the league title”

The French Ligue 1 Champions, Paris Siant-Germain are yet to officially announce the departure of Mauricio Pochettino, who was appointed in January last year and still have one year left on his contract.

It is understood that the sacking of the Argentine professional football manager would cost between 15 and 20 million euros ($15.6m – 20.8m) in severance payments to him and his backroom staff.

Paris Siant-Germain are still trying to secure the signing of their new head coach. Christophe Galtier, the Nice manager is now the front-runner and the favorite of PSG new sporting director, Luis Campos, who replaced Leonardo.
