In interviews, Alvaro Morte stated that he worked really hard to bring the professor’s character to life. His brilliant mind and inventive ideas are the show’s heart and soul.
Morte claims that he assisted in the creation of the Professor’s appearance. He proposed a “normal, shy guy” who goes unnoticed by the general public. His clothing had to be a reflection of his personality.
2. Tokyo And Mathilda
At first sight, Tokyo and Natalie Portman’s Mathilda (from the 1994 film The Professional) have a striking resemblance in appearance. Not only are they attractive, but their emotional state is as well.
Ursula Corbero stated in one of her interviews that she was considering wearing a look inspired by Mathilda.
3. No Nairobi
Nairobi was not originally in the script. After working with Alba Flores on another project, the creator decided to include her character. Flores said in an interview with Oprah that he didn’t think the show would work with only one female character.
He eventually got in touch with her and asked whether she was interested in the position. We wouldn’t have the Nairobi we loved and adored if the actress hadn’t accepted the opportunity.
4. Killing Off Berlin
Berlin’s death shocked the internet because, despite his wickedness, he is one of the best and most admired characters. The majority of viewers would be unaware that he was meant to be fired from the show.
Alex Pina, the show’s creator, wanted to get rid of Berlin because he “didn’t fit in the show,” claiming that his values are outdated.
5. South Korean Adaptation
In the coming years, Netflix will release a South Korean Money Heist remake. There isn’t much information about the show’s plot yet, but it will have a similar basis to the original.
The only thing that is certain is that the theft will take place in one of Korea’s most iconic landmarks.
