Manchester United will venture into the summer transfer window to try and catch up with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal next season. The Red Devils were able to end their six-year trophy drought with the Carabao Cup title.

Erik Ten Hag’s main aim next season is to take his rebuilding process to the next level by signing more players in the upcoming window.

Manchester United has a few positions to strengthen this summer, but the attacking position is Ten Hag’s primary target, with Harry Kane the number one on the club’s transfer list.

Apart from the forward, Ten Hag is expected to add more strength to the midfield. Eriksen is Casemiro’s box-to-box partner last season. He has the vision and creativity, but lacks the strength to power the midfield, so here are two midfielders, Manchester United should sign to to ease the workload on Casemiro.

Moises Caicedo.

Although Arsenal is also interested in the Colombian international as well as Chelsea, the Red Devils should get him as a direct partnership for Casemiro. Caicedo has proven himself to be a Premier League quality, helping Brighton to qualify for the Europa League next season.

Youri Tielemans.

Tielemans could be unpopular among Chelsea fans, but the Belgium playmaker is very good in the box-to-box role. He’s drawn interest from teams like Chelsea, and Arsenal, but United can move faster to get a deal done.
