This victory comes after Akinsanya, along with his deputy Sulyman Ojora and treasurer Mustapha Adekunle, among 20 other executive members, were elected without opposition during the 10th Quadrennial State Delegates Conference held at the union secretariat in Agege.

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Adejare Kembi, Principal of Excel Practitioners, and witnessed by notable figures, including Aliyu Issa Ore, the Acting National President of NURTW, and Kabiru Ado Yau, the former National Secretary.

Also present were Eshomounu Itemoagbo from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Anthony Ogwu, Assistant Chief Labour Officer, and Comrade Ismail Adejumo, the Public Relation Officer of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Lagos State.

Expressing gratitude for his re-election, MC Oluomo acknowledged the support of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the national union body led by Aliyu Issa Ore, and various stakeholders during challenging times. He praised the loyalty and perseverance of the union members, promising increased assistance for their benefit.
