He provides examples of other high-ranking officials who are from the same ethnic group as Senator Ningi and points out that they would not allow their region to be disadvantaged by the Federal Government.
He said, “You can’t be holier than the Pope. The deputy senate president is a Hausa man, and the speaker of the House of reps is a Hausa man. It is only the chairman of the Senate appropriation committee that is from the South West, the three others, and then probably the Senate President also from the South-South.
Don’t forget that the deputy senate president was the chairman of appropriation in the ninth senate. Will he open his eyes and let his region be cheated?
