Iwobi is so much on top of his game that the club recently offered him a new contract, his last performance for Everton against West Ham is precisely an example of how good he currently is. Many football fans hailed him after the game, and he even made Alan Shearer’s Premier League team of the week.
He was on the list with another Everton player, Tarkowski, the list also had the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Son, Jesus, Grealish, Dias and more.
When the Premier League account posted the photo of the team on Twitter, Iwobi reacted to it by saying he was honored to make the list.
Many fans were happy with Iwobi making the list, and a good number of them encouraged him to keep working hard and not let his guards down.
