They will face West Ham in their opening game. The match between Man City and West Ham would be a tough one, as Pep finds it difficult to beat a defense solid West Ham. Also for the past two seasons, West Ham use to have a good start to their Premier League campaign.
Chelsea on the other hand might also find it difficult to win their first game against Everton. The club is still adjusting under a new owner.
Thomas Tuchel needs more players to be ready for the campaign. These players need to understand themselves to start giving out wonderful results. This might not be possible for the match against Lampard’s team.
Manchester United under its new manager is still trying to understand itself. They had a good beginning to the pre-season but started flopping again towards the end. Signing new players have been a difficult one for them so far. Winning their first game against Brentford might be difficult as well.
