The German international, whose contract expires in June, is reportedly a target for City, according to El Nacional. The 32-year-old, who has played more than 350 times for Los Blancos, had three successful seasons at Bayern Munich under Guardiola.

Elsewhere, According to The Athletic, Gabriel Jesus would have chosen Chelsea over Arsenal if given the choice to leave City in the summer. The Brazilian’s transfer to Stamford Bridge, however, is rumored to have been denied.

With three goals and three assists in six outings for the Gunners since leaving the Etihad Stadium, Jesus has been spectacular. For Mikel Arteta’s team, the 25-year-old has led the line admirably and displayed threat in front of goal.
