Currently, Jurgen Klopp’s men are only one point behind Newcastle United and Manchester United. However, they have played a game more.

This means that even though the Merseyside club has done a lot to ensure they keep applying the pressure, winning their last two games may not guarantee them a place in the Champions League for next season.

All Manchester United and Newcastle United need to do is pick up at least six points from their last three games and a place in the Champions League for next season would be guaranteed.

In this article, we would be taking a look at the remaining English Premier League fixtures for all three sides.

Liverpool has two games more to play and those games would be coming against Aston Villa and Southampton.

The game against Aston Villa looks to be the toughest given that Southampton’s relegation has been confirmed.

Manchester United would be playing against Bournemouth in their next English Premier League game.

The game would be away from home. However, their last two league games would be at Old Trafford and against Chelsea and Fulham.

Newcastle United is probably the team with the toughest run of matches heading into the end of the season.

They would be taking on an in-form Brighton and Hove Albion side that beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium last week.

This is then followed by the game against Leicester City and then the final game of the season would be against Chelsea.
