At the end of 2022, Manchester United was estimated to have recorded an average attendance of 73,690. This meant that Old Trafford was full almost all of the time last year.
Barcelona had the second-highest average attendance in Europe in 2022. The Spanish La Liga giants have one of the largest stadia in Europe and they finished last year with an average attendance of 71,564.
German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund had the third-highest average attendance in the whole of Europe in 2022. The German side recorded an average attendance of 62,894 in 2022.
They are followed by English Premier League side, West Ham United. The Hammers have one of the biggest stadia in the English Premier League based on seat capacity and this was evident as they recorded an average attendance of 61,118 in 2022.
