According to a recent tweet she made on her verified twitter handle, she stated it clearly that as long as polygamy, birth control and Alamajiri issues are not dealt with in the north, the insurgency just started.
Speaking further, she stated it clearly that many people may wonder why these terrorists are so vicious. According to her, the reason is because most of them do not know love, empathy and humanity, making it known that they have never been shown love, not even mother’s hug.
That’s a good one from Aisha Yesufu. I really think that she made a valid point here. If we really want to deal with insurgency in Nigeria, we must first of all deal with this Alamajiri system and parents must make sure that they give birth to the number of children they will be able to train.
