Thiago suffered an Achilles injury during Liverpool 3-1 win against Wolves on the last match day of the season. The 31 year old is now set to return to full training ahead of their UEFA Champions league final against Real madrid on Saturday.

Thiago was not part of an open training session after picking up an injury but Jurgen Klopp later confirmed that the 31 year old will resume training on Thursday inorder to prepare ahead of their Champions league final.

Fabinho and Joe Gomez who were also out on injury have both recovered. The two players took part in their open training session to prepare ahead of the final.

The two Liverpool stars are both fit to play in the UEFA Champions league final. However, Divock Origi will miss out after suffering a muscle problem in training.
