Speaking to the media, Trevor Sinclair narrated that one of the reasons why Sadio Mane left Liverpool this summer was due to Jurgen Klopp’s poor comment on the African Cup of Nation (AFCON) tournament held early this year.
In his words, Sinclair noted; ” I think the main thing is that Jurgen Klopp lost him when he came out and belittled the AFCON tournament.
Trevor Sinclair concluded by saying “Mane is a very principled man”.
Sadio Mane completed his move to Bayern Munich early this week and he hopes to continue with his form when the league resumes in August.
The Senegalese striker was very key to Liverpool’s success in recent years and many feel he deserves better treatment than what he got at Liverpool.
