From all indications, Liverpool’s Robertson will be unavailable in the Champions League match against Rangers on Tuesday, Reports suggest. According to another report from Liverpool Echo, the Reds regular start is ruled out of action.
The left-back winger has been absent for the Reds during their encounter against Brighton.
According to Liverpool official website, Robertson suffered a knee injury in Jürgen Klopp’s side’s 4-1 loss to Napoli in the Champions League earlier last month.
As a result of this, Robertson was sidelined for the 2-1 victory over Ajax before the international break last weeks, and had to ruled out of Scotland duty as well as Premier League encounter against Brighton.
Another source reported that, Klopp previously admitted that Robertson would not be available throughout this week.
However, Liverpool prepares for their next encounter against Rangers with fixtures against Wolves and Chelsea postponed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
More so, Jürgen Klopp will have so Many options to replace Robertson against Rangers. Instead, KostasTsimikas will continue to operate in the left-hand side of defense.
