Jurgen Klopp rarely signs new players in the winter transfer market but a difficult injury situation this season has forced him to reconsider his stance on January signings.

The Reds have identified three options so far. One is Jude Bellingham, a long-term target. However, it may be too costly to buy him (around €100m) and Dortmund are unlikely to sanction a January transfer.

Another option is Matheus Nunes. The Portuguese midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the summer but ended up joining Wolves. Now Liverpool are tracking his adaption to the Premier League and would move for him if he performs well with Wolves.
