Meanwhile, one of Liverpool’s star players has created a new record in the UCL, because he starts against the Carlo Ancellotti’s men. For the record, Trent Alexander-Arnold is now the youngest player ever to start three UEFA Champions League finals. Of course, the English right-back took part in the UCL final in 2018, 2019, and 2022.
In all fairness, Trent Alexander-Arnold is now above the likes of Mason Mount, Reece James, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, and the rest. However, he will be facing Vinícius today, and he will have to hold ground very well, because the Brazilian is indeed a dangerous attacker. Vinícius had attempted 127 dribbles in all competitions this season. He’s definitely going to frustrate the Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Simply put, Trent Alexander-Arnold has created a new record in the UEFA Champions League. He becomes the youngest player ever to start three UCL finals.
Congratulations to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
