They are currently sitting second in the Premier League standings, one point behind league leader Arsenal.

Manchester City will be travelling to Merseyside to take on a struggling Liverpool team today. Even though Liverpool are struggling in the premier league this season, Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League performance in the midweek should be of concern to Manchester City as it could be an indication that Liverpool have picked up form.

In midweek, Liverpool trashed Rangers 7-1 in the UEFA Champions League, with Mohamed Salah netting a hat trick.

I don’t expect the match between Liverpool and Manchester City to be an easy one for the visitors today.

Because Liverpool are looking forward to seeing if they can move up into the top 10 in the Premier League standings. Therefore, I expect Pep to field a very strong side against Liverpool today.
