The last time both teams met, the match ended in a 1-0 victory in favor of Real Madrid. The home team lined up in a 4-3-3 formation while Ancelotti’s men started the game in a 4-4-2 formation.

Before tonight’s game, the Reds had failed to defeat Real Madrid in their last six meetings.
Liverpool started the game strongly scoring two early goals to put themselves ahead of the Spanish giants as it looked like they will be having their first win in a long while against the current winner of the Champions League. However, they were unable to do that as Real Madrid continued their dominance against the Reds.
2. POOR ARNOLD.
The English International defender has been outstanding in Liverpool’s previous games this season but he was far from his best against Ancelotti’s men as he failed to handle Vinicius’ offensive threats in the right wing of the pitch.
3. VINICIUS SHINES
The Brazilian International winger has been sensational for Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti. He scored the winning goal in the 2021-2022 UCL finals and continued his scoring streak against the Reds in tonight’s game as he found the back of the net twice to help his team defeat Liverpool.
