The scoreline as at the time of writing this article remains 0-1 as Wolverhampton took the early first half lead against Liverpool.

The Goal from Pedro Neto in the 3rd minutes of the first half, assisted by Jimenez, gave Wolverhampton the early first half lead against Liverpool.

However, there was a poor decision made by the Referee and the Video Assistant Referee against Liverpool in the 3rd minutes of the first half.

The goal scored by Pedro Neto should have been reviewed in the Referee review area, and subsequently cancelled as Raul Jimenez was offside as at the time he received the pass from their goal keeper.

The decision to let the goal stand, despite Raul Jimenez offside was indeed the worst decision made by Liverpool in the first half of the match.
