1. Lionel Messi – Lionel Messi currently occupies the first position on the list with 7 Ballon D’Or titles won in the past few years. Messi beats the likes of Jorginho and Robert Lewandowski into winning the award last season.
According to information gathered, the Argentine captain may not be able to win the prestigious award this year, after failing to win the champions league tournament with PSG last season.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo – Cristiano Ronaldo who currently plays his trademark for Manchester United, currently ranked as the second greatest player of all time, after winning the Ballon D’Or title for a record of 5 times.
Cristiano Ronaldo who is yet to win the prestigious award since his departure from Real Madrid, currently needs two more Ballon D’Or award to equal Lionel Messi at the top of the list.
3. Johan Cruyff – Dutch professional footballer who spent 80% of his football career with Barcelona, currently occupies the third position on the list with 3 Ballon D’Or award won during his time as a professional footballer.
