Lingard said that Sanchez had “talent” in training despite his poor performance in games. He thinks that the pressure to perform at Man United has had an impact on players like Sanchez.

Additionally, Lingard stated that Pogba struggled at Manchester United because the team could not accommodate his style of play.

In response to a question regarding Man United’s lack of success with major signings, Lingard stated on the Diary of a CEO podcast: Simply put, I think we didn’t connect. Of course, under Louis van Gaal, we won the FA Cup. the Carabao Cup and Europa League with Jose Mourinho.

Several high-profile players, such as Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez, were unable to deliver at Old Trafford despite their high transfer worth.

Man United has spent more than £50 million on roughly twelve different players over the past nine seasons. Even superstars like Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Angel Di Maria, and Alexis Sanchez have had trouble living up to their price tags.

Manchester United terminated Jesse Lingard’s contract last season. After being let go by the club, the English international joined Nottingham Forest.

“There is no structure, control, or balance,” he continued. People do what they love. It reminds me of a wild party.

Like Paul, he is one of the world’s best midfielders, and I have known him since he was 16 years old. It didn’t happen at United, so something is wrong.
