He took charge of the club in 2019 after parting ways with Manchester City. Arteta worked alongside Pep Guardiola at City and later left the club and took charge of Emirates. He struggled to perform well in his first arrival to Arsenal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nelson and Lacazette are the forwards while Xhaka, Torreira and Ozil are the midfielders. Saka, David Luiz, Sokratis and Maitland-Niles are the defenders while Leno is the Goalkeeper.
