After learning he wouldn’t start the FA Cup game against Middlesbrough on Saturday, De Zerbi claimed Trossard abandoned a training session last week without permission.

De Zerbi declared that Leandro wasn’t on the team list for tomorrow. He departed the meeting without addressing me. It’s not good either.

I stated to him what I didn’t like about his attitude and behavior. One of Brighton’s top players, Trossard, was claimed to be open to reconciliation by De Zerbi.

In the January transfer window, Trossard has been mentioned as a potential transfer target.

De Zerbi added, “He has to know that I only want players that work hard and give their all for the squad. “I’m not aware of the transfer market or whether he wants to switch teams or not.”
