Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Danny Drinkwater, Charly Musonda and Clarke-Salter have all parted ways with the English club on a permanent basis. Antonio Rudiger will join last season’s european and LaLiga champions, Real Madrid, on a free transfer, while Andreas Christensen will also be heading to Spain to sign with FC Barcelona as a new centre back.

Barcelona are also keen on signing two more Chelsea defenders after Andreas Christensen. Barcelona and Real Madrid persistence regarding Chelsea’s defender can affect the Blues if major world class signings are not made to replace the outgoing players. Chelsea can only compete against Manchester City and Liverpool, if they have good and quality players in every positions on the pitch.
